This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from www.ottegear.com (the “Site”).
PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”
We collect Device Information using the following technologies:

Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect certain information from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (which includes credit card and paypal verification), email address, and phone number. We refer to this information as “Order Information.”
We also provide customers and potential customers with the ability to receive information about our products, special deals, and sales via email or SMS (short message service) text messaging. Individuals interested in receiving these materials can fill the form out on the Site. We use a third-party platform to provide these emails and text messages. We will not send these emails or text messages to any individual who has not provided her or his information to us specifically for this purpose or opted into receiving these emails and/or text messages when making a purchase. If you receive such emails or text messages and wish to be removed from our mailing list, please click the “unsubscribe” link below or in any marketing email text message from us and follow the directions for completing the process of unsubscribing. We refer to information collected for these purposes “Marketing

When we talk about “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are talking both about Device Information, Order Information, and Marketing Contact Information.
DISCOUNT PROGRAM VERIFICATION
We provide product discounts to individuals employed by the U.S. military and as first responders. In order to ensure these programs are used appropriately, we verify employment using personal information such as employee ID numbers and photographic or other reproductions of employee ID cards. We use this information to verify eligibility for these programs and a discount code is provided to the verified individual. After verification is complete and the discount code is provided, the personal information collected for verification purposes is permanently deleted.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations).
We use the Device Information that we collect to help us screen for potential risk and fraud (in particular, your IP address), and more generally to improve and optimize our Site (for example, by generating analytics about how our customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of our marketing and advertising campaigns).
SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Additionally, if you are a European resident we note that we are processing your information in order to fulfill contracts we might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue our legitimate business interests listed above. Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect or solicit any information from anyone under the age of 13 or knowingly allow such persons to make purchases. The Site and its content is not directed at children under the age of 13. In the event that we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information as quickly as possible. DATA RETENTION
When you place an order through the Site, we will maintain your Order Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information.

This Privacy Policy of Secomapp about UpPromote: Affiliate marketing system describes how we may collect and use personal data and the rights granted to merchants, affiliates, and customers regarding their respective data.
By joining the Affiliate program, you signify your approval of the terms set out in this Privacy Policy, and other terms and conditions. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, you must not use the affiliate marketing system.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our privacy practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. By continuing to our affiliate program after these changes are posted, you agree to the revised policy.
Personal Information Controller
Any personal information provided to or gathered by Secomapp under this Privacy Notice will be stored and controlled by Secomapp (the data controller).
Information collected from Merchants
When a merchant uses the app, we are automatically able to access certain types of information from your Shopify account such as email, first name, last name, and shop information (shop domain, shop currency, shop address …). We collect this information to provide you with our Services; for example, to confirm your identity, contact you, provide customer support when you contact us, and provide you with advertising and marketing activities.
Information collected from Affiliates
When an affiliate signs up to join a program, we collect some information to inform merchants such as email, personal information, payment details, and social network information,...The information would help the merchant evaluate the affiliate's background and potential, along with process-specific activities within the app, and contact the affiliate if needed.
Information collected from Customers when visiting the merchant's website
In order to track referral orders, when customers visit a merchant's website and make a purchase, Secomapp system will collect information about orders such as total order, order items, and order ID
About Cookies
“Cookies” are data files that are placed on your device or computer and often include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are created when a user's browser loads a particular website. The website sends information to the browser which then creates a text file. Every time the user goes back to the same website, the browser retrieves and sends this file to the website's server.

Use of UpPromote by Children
UpPromote is not intended for children. If you are under 13, you may use the affiliate marketing system only with the supervision of your parents or guardian.

Secomapp understands that you have rights over your personal information, and takes reasonable steps to allow you to access, correct, amend, delete, port, or limit the use of your personal information. If you are using the system and wish to exercise these rights, please contact us through privacy@secomapp.com. We may require that you provide us with acceptable verification of your identity before providing access to such information.
If you are an affiliate and wish to exercise these rights, please contact the merchant you interacted with directly — we serve as a processor on their behalf, and can only forward your request to them to allow them to respond.
