IFAK GOVT

DIRE ARMORY X OTTE GEAR

The Dire Armory IFAK (DireFAK) GOVT is one of the most compact, purpose-built trauma kits available today. Designed by David Scalf in collaboration with OTTE Gear, the GOVT edition delivers a truly minimalist footprint without sacrificing essential life-saving capability. Every aspect of the pouch and its medical loadout is informed by years of real-world trauma response experience and extensive R&D.

Originally created to meet specifications in an FBI RFQ, the GOVT Edition incorporates several upgrades. It features an integrated strap that threads quickly through battle belts, plate carrier cummerbunds, or other mounting locations. Constructed from laminated Squadron fabric, the DireFAK GOVT is exceptionally durable, water-resistant, and abrasion-resistant. The front remains clean and snag-free, marked only by a black IR-compliant stitched medical cross.

The rear strap system now includes a laser-cut MOLLE attachment option with integrated webbing—removable if needed. A red pull-tab provides instant visual identification in high-stress situations. Inside, an added hook panel allows users to scale the kit up or down with accessories such as our tourniquet wing. Both the trauma shear sheath and the tourniquet holder integrate seamlessly, with a laser-cut pass-through enabling fast external access to shears.

Despite its capability, the DireFAK GOVT remains slim enough to avoid interfering with a pistol draw on the right side and compact enough for comfortable wear inside vehicles and confined spaces.

Measures:  6" x 1.5" x 2.8"
